Activities included video shows.<\/p>\n<p>Home visits were conducted on a weekly basis in homes within John Laing Compound including individual counselling sessions and also sharing a Gospel message.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs Oreta attended:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a meeting at \tMulungushi International Conference Centre organised by Family \tHealth International on Care and Support of Orphans and Vulnerable \tchildren. Presentations were based on Paediatric and Psychosocial \tSupport for children living with HIV\/AIDS and their Caretakers.<\/li>\n<li>the launch of the \tReport of the UN Secretary Generals Task Force on Women, Girls and \tHIV\/AIDS in Southern Africa by the Vice President Nevers Mumba at \tthe Young Women Christian Association Hall.<\/li>\n<li>a four day \tworkshop organised by NGO Coordinating Council Zambia (NGOCC) on \tGender Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation. Facilitation of the \tworkshop was done by Honorine Muyoyeta and the participants were \tdrawn from the various member NGOs of the NGOCC.<\/li>\n<li>a two day NGOCC \tNational Consultative Meeting.<\/li>\n<li>a one day workshop organised by NGOCC Grant \tManagement Unit on Basket Fund Financial and Non-Financial Standard \tReporting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The project coordinator, Catherine Oreta, reports: HIV\/AIDS prevention project activities at the Centre continued as usual, with individual and group discussion sessions, also reflecting on what the Gospel says about our lives.
