On this occasion equipment has been donated to the United Church of Zambia, long-term partners of Makeni Centre&#8217;s work.<\/p>\n<p>We also have news of the 42nd graduation ceremony, attended by\u00a0Minister of\u00a0Community Development,\u00a0Mother &amp; Child Health, Hon.\u00a0Dorothy Kazunga.\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright\" title=\"42nd Graduation Ceremony\" alt=\"image003\" src=\"http:\/\/makeni.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/image003.jpg\" width=\"285\" height=\"216\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We have a report from Gloria Chisenga about the Girls&#8217; Brigade company started at the Church of the Good Shepherd.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/makeni.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/image004.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"image004\" src=\"http:\/\/makeni.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/image004.jpg\" width=\"288\" height=\"192\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There is also news of a partnership with <a href=\"https:\/\/camfed.org\/\" class=\"broken_link\" rel=\"nofollow\">CAMFED<\/a>\u00a0(Campaign for Female Education), a charity that works to educate girls and women to help tackle poverty in rural regions.
