A guide to the kinds of texts that would be helpful is given below.<\/p>\n<h3>General Reference Books<\/h3>\n<p>Any books supporting the teaching of basic  maths and English are very welcome, especially if they have a  vocational quality to them.  In particular, dictionaries are always in  demand and wear out from heavy use. Also very welcome are books on using computers and standard software packages.<\/p>\n<h3>Electronics<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Technology of machine tools<\/li>\n<li>Understanding AC circuits and trouble-shooting<\/li>\n<li>Electricity and electronics principles<\/li>\n<li>Computer hardware<\/li>\n<li>Semiconductor devices<\/li>\n<li>Electronic communication systems<\/li>\n<li>Radio &amp; TV electronics<\/li>\n<li>Technician and engineering-oriented mathematics books<\/li>\n<li>Communication for business<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>IT Books<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Using Windows and modern office packages (Microsoft Office  and OpenOffice)<\/li>\n<li>The  Computer Driving Licence or similar computer literacy training materials<\/li>\n<li>Basic IT &#8211; explaining how peripherals work, definitions of terminology, explanation of what various  standard applications do, for example<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Agriculture Books<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Crop production science<\/li>\n<li>Horticulture<\/li>\n<li>Disease and husbandry of cattle<\/li>\n<li>Fish production<\/li>\n<li>Animal nutrition<\/li>\n<li>Water management, for example &#8220;Domestic waste water treatment in developing countries&#8221; by Mora, D.
